The Past: These materials were originally discovered in deep space derelicts, remnants of an unknown civilization that vanished eons ago. Corporate greed has led to unethical experimentation, turning what should be carefully studied artifacts into potential weapons of mass destruction. The facility's security protocols and automated defenses exist not just to keep intruders out, but to contain the dangerous experiments within.


Your Mission: You are an unhinged rogue operative that shouldn't even be free, let alone have access to a plasma shotgun for that matter. You were formerly employed by the corporation until you witnessed the true destructive potential of their research and were forced to resign for unrelated mental health reasons.


Now, driven by sheer insanity, you've returned to steal these materials for your own crazy reasons only you can understand. Your goal is simple: infiltrate the facility, collect the anomalous canisters, and then decide how to use them. Will you destroy a random outhouse for shits and giggles, teach the corporation a lesson about playing with forces beyond their control, take vengeance upon some assholes that wronged you, blow up your insufferable neighbour, or perhaps just commit atrocities for the heck of it?


Current Situation: The facility's AI has detected your approach.
