Team up

Let's build something together

There are two ways to work together. You can join me on one of my designs through revshare, or you can invite me into a project of yours. Both are below, with the honest terms for each.

Build one of my designs with me

Every design on this site is ready for development, and I'm looking for coders to build them with me. Coders who direct AI count too. I handle the game design, art, sound, writing, marketing, publishing and project management. You handle the code.

We make a commercial game together and aim for PC releases on Steam, GOG and itch.io. The earnings are split among everyone who contributed. Monetisation depends on the project, but it always stays ethical. The game's first job is to give the player a damn good game.

How the split works

I use my own revshare system. Contributors earn a tier (Main, Assistant, Special Thanks or Fan), and the revenue is split by tier. Once you earn a tier you keep it, so core contributors never get diluted. Every payout is recorded, and everyone can check the maths.

Which projects are open?

All of them. Every design in the portfolio is open for a revshare team-up.

Not a coder?

Artists, writers, musicians, sound designers, marketers and publishers are welcome too. Most people in those roles would rather join once there's a playable prototype, though, so the first call goes out to coders.

Bring me into your project

You can invite me into your own project, but I'll be honest: the bar is high. Saying yes means setting my own projects aside, so three things have to line up.

It has to be interesting

It must be interesting enough that I'd rather work on it than on my own designs. That bar is high, but it's not about genre. I'm drawn to games that meet real human needs and treat the player well.

The pay has to be fair

It must be adequate for the work and paid reliably. Exposure, or a share of a game that may never ship, doesn't count as pay for this route. Revshare is what the section above is for.

Trust has to be earned

I need to be able to rely on your word. That takes time and a track record, and it isn't easy, so expect us to start small.

If that still sounds like you, tell me about the project. If you'd rather hire me for design work outright, the hire-me page has the terms.
